Finding And buying Croc Shoes
I remember it like it was yesterday. The first time I tried on a pair of Crocs. It was like being hit by a wave of comfort. I didn’t want to stop walking around the store. I was in disbelief. I had been wearing tennis shoes for comfort all my life, but those couldn’t even hold a candle to the amount of comfort I was currently feeling in that pair of Crocs. But, I wasn’t always this open to wearing Crocs.
When Crocs first came out, I was one of the naive people that looked at them and wondered how people could wear them. Not only were they ugly, but they seemed bulky and uncomfortable. It was like people were trying to torture their feet for doing something bad to them. I spent a good year of my life forbidding to ever get a pair. And then a friend convinced me to just try on a pair, and form an opinion of my own.
Then one day in the sporting goods store, I saw them, the pair that would become my lifeline. Mary Jane style crocs. I searched the display franticly until I found my size, and my color, snapped those babies up and wore them out of the store. My feet have never been happier. These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever been blessed enough to put on. My fallen arches are praising Croc’s glory daily now.
Then, a few months later, my life changed for the better. I was at a sporting good store, and I came across a pair of Crocs that didn’t have that bulky look I was used to. I tried on a pair, and surely enough that comfort was there. I frantically searched the shelves for a pair in my size and color. I put them on right there, took the box to the counter to pay for them, and walked out of the store wearing the shoes that I never wanted to take off.
I was almost in disbelief that they were Crocs. It definitely had the comfort all Crocs wearers have come accustomed to, but these were very fashionable. I tried on a few different pairs, and my curiosity began to amount. I wondered just how many other styles of Crocs were there.
When I got home, I walked directly to my computer and went on www.crocs.com. My jaw dropped. There were more Crocs than I could even imagine. There was a style for any taste. They had heels, wedges, metallics. Crocs you could wear with dresses, and Crocs you could wear with dress pants. It was like an endless line of heaven for feet. Now, when it’s time to go out with friends for the night, I no longer have to sacrifice comfort for style. I just put on a pair of my Rio’s, Hanalei’s, or Postiano’s, and I’m ready to go.
